CELEBRATE THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF WOODSTOCK WITH 87.7 METV-FM

May 17, 2019 (Joliet, IL)  Rialto Square Theatre and 87.7 MeTV-FM present Woodstock: 50 Years of Music, Memories, & Me, a listener party and concert celebrating the 50th anniversary of Woodstock. Thursday, July 25, 2019 @ 7:30 PM. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 24th at 10 AM. Tickets can be purchased online at www.RialtoSquare.com or in person at the Rialto Square Theatre box office (102 N. Chicago St, Joliet, IL 60432). Tickets start at just $20.

50 years ago this summer, a sleepy dairy farm tucked away in the Catskill Mountains of New York played host to a seminal moment in the history of Rock & Roll. Billed as An Aquarian Exposition: 3 Days of Peace & Music…Woodstock (as it would forever be known) became the definitive nexus of the counterculture generation.

Return to that moment when a generation found its voice as 87.7 MeTV-FM celebrates Woodstock: 50 Years of Music, Memories & Me. You’ll feel what it was like to be on-stage at the iconic festival as official Woodstock photographer Baron Wolman takes you on a musical and psychedelic journey back in time. Through his lens, the world would understand what happened both on-stage and off. How a generation of kids came together and grew up over the course of a weekend. It was historic and Baron Wolman saw it all.

But Woodstock is synonymous with great music. Great Moments in Vinyl, led by Chicago radio veteran Bill Cochran, takes the tribute experience to a new level. The band will also bring first-person perspective of Woodstock and share stories about the songs and the artists and the times that brought them into being.
It’s a night of the music of Woodstock with stories told by those who lived it.

A limited number of VIP ticket will include a premium seat, a copy of Baron Wolman’s book “Celebrating Woodstock”, a meet & greet with Baron Wolman (including autograph session), and complimentary beer, wine, soda and light appetizers.
