Bring your curriculum to life and give your students the experience of live theatre!
The Rialto Square Theatre serves as an educational center for children and families and as a presenting arts organization serving over 50 surrounding communities. The Rialto School Matinee Series offers a distinct arts education initiative throughout Joliet and the greater Will County area. The mission of the Rialto Square Theatre school matinee program is to support the curriculum of schools by providing culturally diverse programs for K-12 students. This will be accomplished by providing performances as teaching tools that cultivate an appreciation for the performing arts among young people that will last throughout their lives.
The Rialto Square Theatre is committed to providing the best opportunities for children to experience and participate in the performing arts. We are proud to announce that over half a million students have experienced a professional performing arts event with us since the inception of this program. This season continues the tradition of providing great performances to enhance learning, fire imaginations, and reinforce school curriculum in meaningful ways.
