We have partnered with local breweries around Joliet and surrounding areas to bring a unique experience for all. Craft beer enthusiasts will enjoy a sampling of beers from their favorite local breweries, while enjoying the ambiance of the majestic Rialto Square Theatre. Tickets to the inaugural Rialto Square Theatre Beer Bash are $50, and include beer samples from each brewery, collectable mini pint glass, t-shirt, 3 tacos and live entertainment from some of our favorite local bands. Ticket quantities are limited so purchase your tickets quickly.
Tickets for the Beer Bash can be purchased in person at the Rialto Square Theatre Box Office during normal business hours (Monday- Friday, 12-4:30pm), at Chicago Street Pub, or online at www.rialtosquare.com.

Joliet, IL (June 11, 2018) – NiteLite Promotions and Rialto Square Theatre announced today that Saturday Night Live alumnus and star of Half Baked, Jim Breuer will play the Rialto Square Theatre on Thursday, August 9th at 8pm. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 15th at 10am.
Breuer began his stand-up career in Clearwater, FL in 1989. He came to national attention when he joined the cast of Saturday Night Live (’95-’98) in 1995. He appeared alongside cast members Will Ferrell, David Spade, and Norm McDonald. Many early fans might know him by one of his much-loved SNL character, “Goat Boy” or for his uncanny Joe Pesci impressions. He also starred in the stoner comedy flick, Half Baked alongside Dave Chappelle with featured cameos from Willie Nelson, Snoop Dog and Tommy Chong.
Breuer was named one of Comedy Central’s “100 Greatest Standups of All Time”, and has gone on to have a mega successful career as standup comedian. Post-SNL, his fans would know him from his Comedy Central specials “Hardcore” (2002) and “Let’s Clear The Air” (2009). His 2013 special, “And Laughter for All” is the highest rated original comedy special on EPIX to date. His latest comedy special, “Comic Frenzy” (2015) is currently available on Amazon Prime.
Since 2015 he’s shared his dual passion for comedy and baseball (particularly his New York Mets) with his video recaps of the games that he posts on his Facebook page. Their viral impact has been massive and have aired on MLB Network and ESPN Sportscenter.

(Nashville, Tenn. – May 11, 2018) Singer, songwriter, guitarist and modern day Blues and Americana artist, Keb’ Mo’ was among the list of big winners at the 39th Annual Blues Music Awards, which took place May 10 in Memphis at the Cook Convention Center. Keb’ Mo’, alongside Blues Hall of Famer Taj Mahal, was awarded Album of the Year and Contemporary Blues Album of the Year for their first-ever collaboration project, TajMo. Keb’ also took home the title of Contemporary Blues Male Artist of The Year.

The new movie series, #TBTuesday Summer Movie Series at the Rialto Square Theatre, is a nod to our Vaudeville movie palace past, and will feature past and recently past movies for the entire family, shown on the retro movie screen by the new projector, generously donated by the Rialto Square Volunteers, inside the beautiful Rialto Square Theatre.
Tickets are $5 each, and will be available day-of at the Rialto Square Theatre Box Office. Doors will open at 6p, all showings start at 7p. All seating will be General Admission—first come, first serve. Cash and credit will be accepted for payment. Bar and concessions will be available for purchase.
